This is a double-walled porcelain planter - the water drains out into the space between the inner and outer wall hiding all dirt and water and keeping the table surface free of water marks. 

There is a white liner glaze on the inside and the exterior is unglazed with a matte, textured surface. 

The interior space for the potted plant is 5.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep, the overall width is 8.25 inches.
